Klamath Health Partnership
Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA)
The Federally Supported Health Centers Assistance Act of 1992 and 1995 granted medical malpractice liability protection through the FTCA to HRSA-supported health centers. Under the Act, health centers are considered Federal employees and are immune from lawsuits, with the Federal government acting as their primary insurer. This health center is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and a deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n).
Tier 4 Patient Centered Primary Care Home (PCPCH)

Klamath Health Partnership has been recognized as a Tier 4 Patient-Centered Primary Care Home.
Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH)
Accredited by HRSA, the patient-centered medical home is a model of care that puts patients at the forefront of care. PCMH’s have been proven to improve quality and the patient experience, and increase staff satisfaction—while reducing health care costs. KHP is a 2023 PCMH awardee.
Community Health Quality Recognition
The CHQR recognizes HRSA Health Center Program awardees that have made notable quality improvement achievements in the areas of access, quality, health equity, health information technology, and COVID-19 public health emergency response for the most recent Uniform Data System (UDS) reporting period.
